About Audra:

Audra works at Stanford Health Plan as a Wellness Educator & Wellness Coach.  Even though PE was Audra’s favorite class as a child, she came to the wellness and fitness industry later in life. Having been an on & off gym attendee, her journey started when she began training for a triathlon. It wasn’t long before she realized she looked forward to going to the gym more than going to work at a local trucking firm.

After occupying various positions throughout the transportation industry, she decided to go back to school to do what she loves most: exercise & self-improvement.  In 2012, she graduated from SDSU (Go Jacks!) with two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Exercise Science and the other in Psychology. Almost immediately after graduating, she was offered the opportunity to work at Sanford Health Plan as a Wellness Educator & Wellness Coach.

When she’s not in giving wellness presentations around the area or studying for her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health, she can likely be found in one of 2 places:

  1. Hanging out with her family – husband Dave, boys (ages 18 & 14), and a challenging terrier/Brittany spaniel mix named MacGuyver

  2. Working out in her home barbell gym with whoever she can coerce into joining her
